A colourful Diwali was celebrated at Orchard to foster the marvelous cultural heritage of our country.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most significant religious festivals, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. Celebrated across India and by the global community, Diwali marks the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after defeating the demon king Ravana. It also honors the goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth and prosperity. The festival is celebrated with lighting oil lamps (diyas), bursting firecrackers, exchanging sweets, and performing prayers (pujas). Beyond its relgious significance, Diwali is a time for families and communities to come together, fostering unity, happiness, and renewal. It represents hope, joy, and new beginnings.
